Chilled express shipping of your Happy Foie Gras
If your order reaches us by 11h, we will ship via DPD Express on the same day. Orders that reach us after 11h, we ship the next day. So that your package is not in a depot and gets warm on the weekend, we ship from Monday - Thursday. You will then receive your delivery the next day by 18h.

KNOWLEDGING ABOUT SHIPPING:
Thermobox: The Thermobox we use is an isothermal package made of extruded polystyrene, coated with aluminum foil. With a thickness of just 5 millimeters, our boxes have an extremely low thermal conductivity. The result: excellent insulation. The cold chain reliably lasts up to 48 hours, time enough to deliver your order to your door on time. Best of all, the boxes are recyclable, take up hardly any storage space, and generate no extremely disruptive Styrofoam waste.
Coolpacks: The cooling elements are thermoformed vacuum-welded plastic elements made of 90/70my PA-PE film with a filling of water/polyacrylic gel. Like the film, the cooling gel used is also non-toxic, certified for direct contact with foodstuffs and can be disposed of thermally without pollutants. For optimal compliance with the cold chain, the disposable cooling elements are deep-frozen at the time of packaging.
Cover carton or cushioning material: To prevent your jars from being damaged during transportation, 6 jars at a time are usually in a cover carton or we secure the jars with cushioning material made from waste cartons.

Time of Delivery & Receipt: Delivery is made by default between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm, however, the exact time of delivery is beyond our control. How do I get the Happy Foie out of the jar?
The best way to do this is to heat some water in a saucepan, place the glass with the Happy Foie in the hot water using tongs, wait a little and then use a hot knife to cut out the Happy Foie mass along the edge of the glass. Et voilà.
Can I fry Happy Foie?
Yes! Simply take our Happy Foie as a block out of the glass or directly from the roll and cut into slices. Then fry in a very hot Teflon pan without fat for about 20 seconds on each side.
Why are the shipping costs so high?
Happy Foie is semi-preserved. It is therefore important to ship the orders as quickly as possible while maintaining the cold chain. This is only possible with refrigerated food delivery and by express. Accordingly, the shipping costs are slightly higher.
