Ingredients
  • Happy Foie Duck
  • radish
  • pretzels
  • chives
  • red onions
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • White Balsamic Vinegar 
  • oil

Step 1: Prepare Happy Foie Duck

  1. Take the Happy Foie Duck out of the refrigerator and let it rest at room temperature for a few minutes to allow the aroma to fully develop.
  2. Cut the Happy Foie Duck into thin slices with the Happy Foie wire cutter.

Step 2: Prepare lye sticks

  1. If made yourself: Prepare the dough and shape the pretzel sticks. Let them rise and bake them according to the recipe.
  2. If purchased: Place the pretzel sticks on a wooden board or cut them into pieces as desired.
  3. If baked: Preheat the oven and bake the pretzel sticks according to the package instructions.

Step 3: Prepare radish salad

  1. Wash the radishes thoroughly and grate them into fine slices.
  2. Peel the red onion and slice it thinly.
  3. Put the radishes and the onion in a bowl.
  4. Add the chopped chives.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together the white balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Pour the dressing over the radish salad and mix well.

Step 4: Plating

  1. Place the pretzel sticks on a large board or plate.
  2. Place the sliced Happy Foie Duck next to it.
  3. Place a bowl with the radish salad on the board or place it directly on the board.
  4. Garnish as desired with fresh herbs or edible flowers.

Step 5: Serve

  1. Serve the bread time as an appetizer, snack, or part of a cozy dinner.
