Chilled express shipping of your Happy Foie Gras
If your order reaches us by 11h, we will ship via DPD Express on the same day. Orders that reach us after 11h, we ship the next day. So that your package is not in a depot and gets warm on the weekend, we ship from Monday - Thursday. You will then receive your delivery the next day by 18h.
Your shipment consists of:
- a sturdy outer carton
- an insulating thermal box
- several cold packs (depending on the order size)
- your jars of Happy Foie Gras + outer box or cushioning material
KNOWLEDGING ABOUT SHIPPING:
Thermobox: The Thermobox we use is an isothermal package made of extruded polystyrene, coated with aluminum foil. With a thickness of just 5 millimeters, our boxes have an extremely low thermal conductivity. The result: excellent insulation. The cold chain reliably lasts up to 48 hours, time enough to deliver your order to your door on time. Best of all, the boxes are recyclable, take up hardly any storage space, and generate no extremely disruptive Styrofoam waste.
Coolpacks: The cooling elements are thermoformed vacuum-welded plastic elements made of 90/70my PA-PE film with a filling of water/polyacrylic gel. Like the film, the cooling gel used is also non-toxic, certified for direct contact with foodstuffs and can be disposed of thermally without pollutants. For optimal compliance with the cold chain, the disposable cooling elements are deep-frozen at the time of packaging.
Cover carton or cushioning material: To prevent your jars from being damaged during transportation, 6 jars at a time are usually in a cover carton or we secure the jars with cushioning material made from waste cartons.

Shipping instructions
Day of Delivery: You will get the ordered goods Tuesday to Friday one or two days after you placed your order. Please take into account that we can only honor a next-day delivery if the items you ordered are marked with "immediately available" status and your order is placed by 11:00 am at the latest. - By the way: On Monday and the day after a public holiday, delivery is not possible, because in these cases, compliance with the cold chain can not be guaranteed.
The topic of availability: The selectable period for a delivery date is five days. For example, if a product is only available after four days, the shipment will also take place only four days after receipt of the order. If one of the products of a total larger order is only available after four days, then we will ship your purchase completely in one package also only after four days.
Time of Delivery & Receipt: Delivery is made by default between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm, however, the exact time of delivery is beyond our control. Therefore, please make sure that an authorized person is present during the delivery period*. A tip: Leave during the ordering process but a message to the parcel carrier, with whom he can leave the package in case of doubt, if he does not meet you.

Hmmh, also ganz ehrlich, begeistert war ich nicht. Wir haben sie zu dritt probiert und waren gleicher Meinung. Tolle Idee zum Tierschutz, aber mir bleibt dann nur noch keine Foie Gras mehr zu essen, oder einfach eine leckere Pâté de foie.

Gute Frische und Konsistenz, guter typischer Geschmack, jedoch könnte sie etwas zarter auf der Zunge liegen. Leider lässt sich die Creme nicht im Stück aus dem Glas entnehmen.

How do I get the Happy Foie out of the jar?
The best way to do this is to heat some water in a saucepan, place the glass with the Happy Foie in the hot water using tongs, wait a little and then use a hot knife to cut out the Happy Foie mass along the edge of the glass. Et voilà.
Can I fry Happy Foie?
Yes! Simply take our Happy Foie as a block out of the glass or directly from the roll and cut into slices. Then fry in a very hot Teflon pan without fat for about 20 seconds on each side.
Why are the shipping costs so high?
Happy Foie is semi-preserved. It is therefore important to ship the orders as quickly as possible while maintaining the cold chain. This is only possible with refrigerated food delivery and by express. Accordingly, the shipping costs are slightly higher.
