Add a luxurious touch to your sushi with the Happy Foie and fresh cucumber. This simple yet refined version of classic sushi is perfect for special occasions or as an elegant snack.

Ingredients:
  • 100 g Happy Foie
  • 200 g Sushi Rice
  • 250 ml water
  • 30 ml rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cucumber
  • 2-3 sheets of nori (seaweed)
  • Black sesame, for sprinkling
  • Soy sauce, for serving
Preparation:
  1. Prepare Sushi Rice: Rinse the sushi rice thoroughly under cold water until the water runs clear. Cook the rice with 250 ml of water in a rice cooker or pot, according to the instructions.

  2. Seasoning the rice: While the rice is cooking, heat rice vinegar, sugar, and salt in a small pot until the sugar and salt have dissolved. Transfer the cooked rice to a large bowl, pour the vinegar mixture evenly over it, and gently fold it in. Allow the rice to cool to room temperature.

  3. Prepare cucumber: Wash the cucumber thoroughly and cut it into thin strips.

  4. Happy Foie slicing: Slice the Happy Foie into thin slices, about 1 cm thick, using the Happy Foie wire slicer.

  5. Sushi rolls: Place a sheet of nori on a sushi mat. Evenly spread a thin layer of cooled sushi rice on the nori, leaving a small strip at the top edge. Evenly place the cucumber strips along the rice. Lay the Happy Foie slices on top.

  6. Rolling and cutting: Carefully shape the nori sheet into a firm Roll using the sushi mat. Cut into even pieces and lightly roll the sushi rolls in black sesame.

  7. Serving: Arrange the sushi pieces on a plate and serve with soy sauce.
